Following up on the Collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Palu and Humainement Concernes Indonesia.

In order to strengthen the role of higher education institutions in carrying out the mandate of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Palu, is committed to following up on strategic cooperation with Humainement Concernes Indonesia. The visit was attended by the Founder of Humainement Concernes Iskander Di Spigno accompanied by Daegal Aristo Dwiputra as the Manager of Indonesia Harkat Cakrawala Peduli with the team.

The visit was warmly welcomed by the leadership of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palu, represented by the Deputy Dean III for Student Affairs, Alumni and AIK, Umar, S.E., M.M. Also present were the Deputy Dean II for General Administration, Finance, HR and Infrastructure, Cahyaning Raheni, S.Kom., M.M, the Heads of Study Programs and a number of lecturers and students. The visit was a follow-up to the MoU that had been built by both parties at the end of 2024. The form of cooperation agreed upon includes the Tri Dharma of Higher Education activities, including student internship programs, as stated in the MoU and MoA documents.

This collaboration covers three main pillars, namely education, research, and community service, with the aim of making a real contribution to improving the quality of human resources and community welfare.

In the field of education, this partnership aims to expand access to global-based learning through knowledge exchange programs, workshops, and skills training that are relevant to the needs of the world of work and society.

In the field of research, this collaboration will encourage the implementation of collaborative research oriented towards developing innovative solutions, especially in the fields of economics and business, to address local and global challenges.

Meanwhile, in community service, both parties will synergize to implement community empowerment programs that focus on strengthening local economic capacity, entrepreneurship education, and social sustainability.

“Today we have a guest from France, Mr. Iskander Di Spigno as the founder of Humainement Concernes along with a team from his foundation, Harkat Cakrawala Peduli. They came to follow up on the collaboration related to the student internship program and at the same time explain a number of projects they are working on in Palu,” explained Umar, Deputy Dean III of FEB, Monday (20/1/2025).

The arrival of Humainement Concernes was to follow up on the previously agreed student internship program collaboration, and currently the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Palu has proposed a number of students from the Management Undergraduate Study Program and the Digital Business Undergraduate Study Program to be selected by the Harkat Cakrawala Peduli team.

The campus also expressed the hope that the collaboration would not only be in the student internship program, but could collaborate in other fields such as international internships or student exchanges, lecturer and student research, and community service both at the national and international levels.

As conveyed by Mr. Umar, Deputy Dean III of FEB in his remarks, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Palu is very grateful and appreciates the opportunity that has been given and hopes to be able to collaborate more widely. This also received a positive response from Iskander, Founder of Humainement Concernes, who is even ready to facilitate to several countries where several universities have collaborated with them such as in France and Morocco.

With the spirit of togetherness and a harmonious vision, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palu hopes that the synergy with Humainement Concernes Indonesia can provide a significant and sustainable impact, as well as being a concrete example of how universities and social institutions can collaborate to create positive change in society.
